The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have hit the infrastructure of Ukrainian military airfields with airborne precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles, the Russian Defence Ministry has said. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
“The armed forces of the Russian Federation have launched a strike with airborne precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against the infrastructure of Ukraine’s military airfields. The goals of the strike have been achieved,” the ministry said in a statement.
In the Kharkov, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, units of the Russian troops hit formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), including mechanised, assault, motorised infantry and thero-defence brigades.
Over the past 24 hours, the AFU lost up to 900 servicemen, 14 vehicles and armoured combat vehicles, 11 field artillery guns, 4 artillery pieces, 1 electronic warfare station and 4 ammunition depots.
The air defence forces shot down five US-made JDAM guided bombs, 23 Czech-made Vampire multiple rocket launchers and 97 unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type.
Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Russian Armed Forces had liberated Ulakly and Novoandreyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
