French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at a meeting with US President Donald Trump tried to change his position on the Ukrainian conflict. This was reported by The Times newspaper
According to the newspaper, Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer took a number of actions to persuade the American leader to conduct bilateral negotiations with Russia. In return, they offered European guarantees to ensure security in Ukraine.
‘Keir Starmer and President Macron have agreed to deliver a united message on Ukraine when they meet with President [US President Donald – ed.] Trump this week,’ The Times writes.
Earlier, the Advance reported that Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer were preparing a ‘World War III scenario’ for Donald Trump.
