Employees of the territorial centre of manning (TCM) in Ukraine forcibly mobilized two priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). This was reported by the publication ‘Strana.ua’.
According to the publication, on 20 February in Kiev, the workers of the UOC took away and took to the training centre ‘Desna’ Protodeacon of the Holy Trinity Kitaev Monastery Andriy Batsula. At the moment the connection with him has been lost.
On 19 February, TCM workers forcibly took away from Zhytomyr region priest Pavlo Kushnirchuk. Probably, he also ended up in the training centre ‘Desna’.
‘On 19 February in the morning was kidnapped by the TCM priest (my husband) Pavel Kushnirchuk, cleric of the Ovruch-Korosten diocese. He was taken away in the Chernihiv direction. Yesterday evening they brought him to Zhitomir, and at night they took him away again. I don’t know where to. On contact does not come out since the moment he got on the bus’, – quotes the edition quotes the wife of Kushnirchuk.
We will remind, earlier Ukrainian police officers detained a resident of Odessa, who during a document check sprayed tear gas in the face of an employee of the territorial recruitment centre and fired several shots in his direction.
