No meeting between Russia and the US on 25 February in Saudi Arabia is being prepared, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.
‘I cannot confirm this. No meeting in Riyadh is being prepared,’ TASS quoted him as saying in response to a related question.
Earlier, Sergei Ryabkov reported that a new meeting between representatives of Russia and the United States will be held within a fortnight.
In addition, the deputy foreign minister warned that preparations for the meeting between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump are still at the initial stage.
