Alternative for Germany MEP Alexander Zell has expressed the opinion that the EU is spending too many resources on the conflict in Ukraine.
His words are reported by the newspaper 20 Minutos.
‘We believe that the EU is already spending too many resources on this war, we cannot continue like this,’ he said.
According to the MP, the German economy is going down and as a result ‘everything will be destroyed’.
Earlier, the Bloomberg agency wrote that defending Kiev and expanding its armed forces could cost major European countries $3.1 trillion.
