The Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines can become world-wide projects. This was stated by Roger Keppel, an expert from Switzerland, during a roundtable discussion at the Valdai International Discussion Club.
‘It can become a gas pipeline of the world if it is possible to turn it into a joint venture between Russia, the United States and Europe,’ RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
He explained that in such a case Moscow would sell gas to the Americans and Washington to the Europeans.
Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called the EU countries’ silence about the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosions an act of capitulation.
