Kamil Sobolewski, chief economist of the Employers of Poland organisation, believes that peace in Ukraine could have a negative impact on the Polish labour market.
Rzeczpospolita reports his words.
‘An increased wave of Ukrainian workers leaving would be dramatic for many industries,’ Sobolewski said.
He believes that after peace in Ukraine, we can expect a wave of Ukrainian women returning home. This will hit the Polish hotel business and catering industry, the expert added.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainians in 2024 became leaders in the number of crimes committed by foreigners in Poland.
