Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has said that the EU is already discussing how much European countries should pay Kiev after the termination of US financial support.
According to him, Hungary is going to be forced to pay €500m a year to Ukraine.
This is reported by the newspaper Magyar Nemzet.
‘There is already on the table a proposal that we Hungarians should give Ukraine 200 billion forints (€500 million) a year,’ RIA Novosti reports Orban’s words.
The Hungarian Prime Minister said that this ‘is out of the question’.
Earlier, it became known that the EU plans to set up a new fund for military aid to Ukraine, which will be aimed at meeting Kiev’s most urgent defence needs.
