Russia looks like a winner after the talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia. This was stated by the head of EU diplomacy Kaja Kallas in an interview with Euractiv.
Kaja Kallas emphasised that looking at pictures from the past talks it is noticeable that Russia looks like a winner against the US.
‘If you look at the pictures from Saudi Arabia, the Russians. Their position is ‘now everybody comes to us and offers us what we want’,’ Kaja Kallas reported.
The head of European diplomacy stressed that if the deal on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine is held without the consent of the European Union, it ‘will not be implemented’.
Earlier, the delegations of Russia and the United States concluded negotiations in Riyadh.
