Europe must realise that it has become isolated and cannot rely on support or patronage from the United States of America. This is stated in the Financial Times (FT) article titled ‘Vance’s real warning to Europe’.
A senior EU diplomat said that Europe now has to rely only on itself.
In response to a question about whether he considers the United States of America as an adversary of the European Union, the diplomat gave an affirmative answer, writes FT.
The publication recalls that during his speech at the Munich conference, US Vice President JD Vance accused the Europeans of suppressing freedom of speech and lack of democracy, as well as that the main threats to Europe come not from Russia and China, but from within.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election gave a powerful impetus to national patriotic forces in Europe.
