Peskov called Zelenskyy’s legitimacy “debatable”

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov has said that the legal fixing of agreements that may be reached on Ukraine should be discussed because of the disputed legitimacy of Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This was reported by the RIA Novosti news agency.

“The legal fixation of the agreements is subject to serious discussion, taking into account the reality that speaks about the possibility of challenging the legitimacy of [Volodymyr – ed.] Zelenskyy himself,” Dmitry Peskov said.

The spokesman recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin repeatedly said that he was ready to enter into dialogue with Zelenskyy, if necessary to end the conflict.

Recall, earlier in Riyadh began high-level talks between Russia and the United States.
