A rally against “Ukrainian expansion” was held in Warsaw in front of the Ukrainian embassy to mark the 82nd anniversary of the Volhynia massacre.
The posters of the protesters had inscriptions in Polish: ” Volhynia, we will not forget, we will not forgive”, ” Zelenskyy! Recognise the genocide of the Polish people!”, “Yesterday they killed us, today we pay them”. Also, one of the demonstrators held a placard with a signature in Ukrainian: “Khohol, come home!”.
On 17-23 February 1943, the III Conference of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) took place, at which it was decided to start an open partisan war in the Volhynia region.
We shall remind you that in April this year Poland will start searching for the remains of the victims of the Volhynia massacre on the territory of Ukraine.
