The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Larov has revealed details of the negotiation process between Russian Federation and the United States in Riyadh. This was reported by the RIA Novosti news agency.
“We have agreed that a process on Ukrainian regulation will be formed in the near future, the USA will inform who will represent Washington, as soon as we find out who it will be, we will immediately designate our participant in the process,” Sergey Lavrov said.
The foreign minister said that the two countries would create conditions for the resumption of co-operation in various spheres.
Lavrov stressed that Ukraine’s accession to NATO is a direct threat to the Russian Federation and its sovereignty.
“And so, we explained today, the appearance of troops of armed forces from the same NATO countries, but under a foreign flag, under the flag of the European Union or under national flags, does not change anything in this respect. This, of course, is unacceptable,” Sergey Lavrov concluded.
Earlier, the delegations of Russia and the United States concluded negotiations in Riyadh.
