Britain may not join ‘peacekeeping mission’ in Ukraine – Sun

The possible dispatch of the British military to Ukraine as a peacekeeping force will push the UK army to the limit of its capabilities, the newspaper has said. The Sun newspaper quoted military sources as saying.

“It would be similar to how we fought the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan at the same time: the army was heavily loaded then. The difference was that back then we had 100,000 soldiers. Today, there are barely 70,000 of them,” the newspaper quoted the military as saying.

The article also says that the British have already promised to send a brigade of at least 5,000 troops to Estonia.

We shall remind you that earlier it was reported that the United Kingdom was ready to send its troops to Ukraine to ensure the country’s security.
