Vance believes that internal problems are scarier for Europe than “Russia and the PRC”

US Vice President J.D. Vance criticised European countries at the Munich Security Conference, pointing to their departure from fundamental values as posing more of a threat to Europe than “Russia and the PRC”.

“The threat I’m most concerned about regarding Europe is not Russia, or China, or any external player. I am concerned about the threat coming from within. Europe’s departure from some of its most fundamental values that are shared in the United States,” J.D. Vance said.

He also urged European leaders to listen to their constituents and not impose decisions and ideals on them that they do not agree with.

“We must do more than just talk about democratic values. We have to live with them,” – emphasised the US Vice-President.

We will remind, earlier Politico wrote that JD Vance refused to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the Munich Security Conference.
