United States President Donald Trump has announced a meeting of senior officials from Russia, Ukraine and the United States in Saudi Arabia.
“Tomorrow is a meeting in Munich, and next week a meeting in Saudi Arabia, not with me or President [Russian President Vladimir – ed.] Putin, but with top officials. And Ukraine will also participate in this,” Donald Trump said.
The US president stressed that during the meeting they would discuss options for a speedy conclusion of the armed conflict in Ukraine.
We shall remind you that earlier Vladimir Putin said that Moscow was ready for talks with Kiev without preconditions, but on the basis of the Istanbul agreements and the current situation on the front line, stressing the need for dialogue only with the legitimate leadership of the country.
