The transfer of nuclear weapons to Ukraine depends on US President Donald Trump. This was stated by United States Defence Minister Pete Hegseth in an interview with Breitbart.
In an interview, Pete Hegseth did not rule out the possibility that the US would give Ukraine nuclear weapons, but emphasised that this decision would depend on Donald Trump.
‘I’m not here to announce something on the negotiating table. That’s not my job. That’s the president’s job. He’s a leader, he’s a master negotiator and deal maker,’ the minister said.
In addition, Hegseth emphasised that Trump always negotiates ‘from a position of strength and is not going to give up’.
