German President Steinmeier: EU leaders should not behave like deer

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that European leaders should not behave like deer. He expressed this opinion at the Munich Security Conference.

Lenta.ru reported that the politician urged EU leaders not to behave ‘like deer caught in the headlights’.

According to him, the Western countries themselves are the subjects of the international process, which can resolve the existing crisis.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz proposed to introduce a state of emergency in the country, as the United States ‘threaten the security’ of Germany.
