Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Maryana Bezuglaya said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are experiencing a critical shortage of air defence (AD) assets.
Maryana Bezuglaya also believes that the AFU command is spreading misinformation about events on the front.
‘When the air forces lie for the umpteenth time about ‘debris’ [downed missiles – ed.] and go along with [AFU commander-in-chief Alexander – ed.] Syrsky, reducing air defence. <…> With these lies they are distorting the already critical situation with the shortage of air defence assets. Why do we need new systems from the United States, for example? We all ‘shoot down’, – wrote Bezuglaya in her Telegram-channel.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump intends to persuade Europe to increase the purchase of US weapons for Ukraine.
