The countries of the North Atlantic Alliance ‘absolutely support’ peace talks to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, his words quoted by RIA Novosti.
‘This telephone conversation clearly left the impression that it was a success. We all want peace in Ukraine,’ Mark Rutte said.
The Secretary General of NATO emphasised that the telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US leader Donald Trump ‘gives the impression’ of the beginning of a diplomatic settlement of the conflict.
