Chinese President Xi Jinping has accepted Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invitation to participate in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Moscow. This was announced by Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov on air of the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
“Chinese President Xi Jinping has accepted an invitation to take part in Moscow on 9 May in the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War,” Igor Morgulov said (quoted by TASS).
In addition, the Chinese leader invited Vladimir Putin to China for the celebrations scheduled for early September this year.
Recall, earlier Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping discussed a wide range of issues on cooperation between Russia and China.
