US President Dold Trump has said a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin will take place at the “appropriate moment”.
“I think I would meet with Vladimir Putin, yes, at the appropriate time. I don’t want to talk about that right now,” Donald Trump stated.
The US president also reacted to numerous reports about his regular phone contacts with Vladimir Putin.
“They can assume that. It makes sense. I don’t want to talk about it. If we are talking, I don’t want to tell you too soon about the conversations. But I think we are making progress”, – emphasised Trump.
Recall, earlier Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with the Associated Press that the only option for negotiations between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is the “threat of sanctions” by the United States.
