Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau believes U.S. President Donald Trump may actually annex Canadian territory.
The New York Times said.
‘Trudeau made it clear that he does not consider Mr Trump’s statements a joke and is sure that Canada should consider annexation as a serious threat,’ the publication says.
Earlier, Trudeau said that Trump’s remarks about Canada’s annexation to the US should be taken seriously.
On 4 February, the US suspended import duties on goods from Canada for 30 days.
