Russian Consul General in New York Alexander Zakharov said in an interview with RIA Novosti that the diplomatic mission notes a ‘slight increase’ in the number of visas issued to Russia, which, he said, indicates a growing interest in travelling to the country.
‘We also note a slight increase in the number of visas issued, which indicates a growing interest in travelling to Russian Federation’, the diplomat said.
Earlier, Russia’s Charge d’Affaires to the United States Alexander Kim said the two countries are bound by a legacy of partnership at critical moments in world history and should not let it fade into oblivion.
