Britain is helping Ukraine develop two new models of maritime unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) Wasp and Snapper for use in Black Sea waters, Naval Technology reports.
According to the portal, the new UAVs ‘could play an important role’ in the fight against Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.
‘They can be quickly developed and implemented if you have the money and desire, but they run out very quickly, and they need to be used in large numbers so that at least a few of them reach their goal,’ said retired Commodore of the Royal Navy Steve Prest.
