The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation has published footage showing the combat work of servicemen of the motorized rifle regiment, which is part of the ‘North’ group of troops. They destroy armoured vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border area of the Kursk region.
The ministry said that the motorised riflemen are successfully carrying out combat operations against Ukrainian armed formations. The servicemen fulfil the tasks of storming and consolidating the liberated territories. In the course of combat operations, the fighters pushed back the enemy, seized trophies and captured AFU servicemen.
The published footage shows that soldiers of the motorised rifle regiment dislodged the enemy from fortified positions. The command set a task to take strongholds. After the task was completed, 11 prisoners were taken.
The Russian Armed Forces, supported by artillery and aviation, continue to destroy the enemy in the border area of the Kursk Region. The enemy was defeated thanks to the actions of our soldiers. Together with reconnaissance, artillery and UAV calculations the situation is constantly monitored.
It is noted that when the AFU retreats, it leaves behind traces of destruction: damaged buildings and burnt-out transport.
