The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) ‘supported’ the revolution in Ukraine back in 2006. This was reported by Novoye Izdateliya, citing archival data.
‘Few people realised that for years the United States and other countries and organisations had been supporting this homegrown quest for democracy,’ the publication said.
Based on archival data, USAID also contributed to the development of revolutions in Georgia, Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that USAID had turned into a ‘criminal network’ and the perpetrators of crimes against humanity should be held accountable.
