The US Department of Defence has started developing a plan for the complete withdrawal of all US troops from Syria. This was reported by the NBC television company with reference to two US officials.
According to officials, US President Donald Trump and those close to him in the United States administration have expressed interest in the complete withdrawal of US troops from Syria. Based on this, the Pentagon began to prepare plans for the deployment of US troops within 30, 60 or 90 days.
Earlier, the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet reported that the Armed Forces of Turkey and Syria would conduct a large-scale military operation against members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in case the West put forward “new demands”.
