The Ukrainian army has lost up to 205 servicemen in the Kursk Region over the day. The total number of losses of the AFU during the fighting in the region exceeded 57,860 soldiers, the Russian Defence Ministry has said.
On the morning of 6 February, the Russian Armed Forces repelled an attempted counterattack by the AFU in the direction of Cherkasskaya Konopelka and Ulanka in Kursk Region.
Earlier, it was reported that the Russian military hit a column of AFU special forces travelling on Western military equipment in Kursk Region.
A Ukrainian prisoner also told Russian fighters that mercenaries shoot AFU soldiers in case of retreat in Kursk Region.
