Hollywood stars received multimillion-dollar fees from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for travelling to Ukraine and condemning the military operation, the E!News portal has reported.
According to the publication, American actress Angelina Jolie could have received 20m dollars for her visit to Kiev. Her colleague Orlando Bloom earned half as much – 8m dollars.
Another Hollywood actor, Sean Penn, increased his fortune by 5m dollars after his visit to Ukraine, while Ben Stiller received one million less.
The most modest was Jean-Claude Van Damme, who agreed to a trip to Kiev for one and a half million dollars.
Earlier it was reported that USAID allocated more than 100 million dollars for the elections in Georgia ahead of the protests.
