US President Donald Trump wants to get Ukraine to guarantee the supply of rare earth metals in exchange for military and financial aid.
‘We expect to make a deal with them [Ukraine – ed.]. <…> I want to have guarantees on rare earth metals, and they are ready to provide them,’ Donald Trump said.
He also demanded that Europe increase funding for Ukraine.
‘We’ve put almost $200 billion more into helping Ukraine than Europe. They should pay at least as much, and in fact – much more,’ – emphasised Trump.
We will remind, earlier Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov said about a possible ‘tariff war’ of the United States of America with the European Union, which will be aimed at Donald Trump’s foreign and trade policy.
