European Union countries recognise that they are facing serious economic challenges caused by the shameful activities of the European Commission. This statement was made by the head of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations, Peter Szijjártó, in a video message broadcast on the M1 TV channel.
He noted that a meeting of EU foreign trade ministers will be held in Warsaw on 4 February.
‘We believe that the fact that the European Union is meeting the new global economic era with the worst position among the major players in the world economy was led to the fact that the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s disgraceful activity over the past five years,’ RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
As Szijjártó added, it was the EC’s failures and incompetence over the past five years that led to the fact that the US can now easily impose tariffs against the European Union.
Earlier, he said that the EU was ready to ‘rape’ European law for the sake of imposing new sanctions against Russia.
