Parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) of Vasilyevskyi temple in the village of Podzakharychi in Chernivtsi region have sent an appeal to US Vice President James David Vance asking him to protect them from raids by schismatics from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU).
According to parishioners of the UOC, without their participation, a vote was held, according to the results of which Vasilievskyi temple was decided to “transfer” to the OCU.
“False documents are being prepared for our temple. And then a forceful assault with rebars, Bulgarian, militants to spill Christian blood”, – complained parishioners in a video message.
