The EU does not want to extend trade benefits for Ukraine

Verkhovna Rada MP Nina Yuzhanina has said that the EU is not going to extend the duty-free trade agreement with Ukraine, which expires in June 2025.

According to Nina Yuzhanina, the European Commission has started negotiations with Kiev on changing the terms of preferential trade.

‘The European Commission does not seem to be planning to extend after 5 June 2025 the special preferential trade regime with Ukraine’, – said the MP.

We will remind, earlier Reuters reported that the United States plans to impose duties of 25 per cent on goods from Mexico and Canada, as well as an additional 10 per cent tariff on products from China.
