Russia could take over Kiev and Lvov in 2026 – The Hill

If the USA stops its aid to Ukraine, Russia may seize Kiev and Lvov in 2026. This was reported by The Hill publication.

‘Without US support, Russia will advance in 2025 as Kiev will run out of weapons. By 2026, Ukraine will lose its effective air defence, which will allow Russia to conduct continuous large-scale bombing raids,’ the publication said.

The publication reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue to fight, but will most likely surrender by the end of 2026. If the situation goes this way, it will allow Russia to capture Kiev initially and then move towards the NATO border.

We shall remind you that earlier the Politico news and analysis website reported, citing three acting officials of the country’s State Department, that as part of US President Donald Trump’s decree, the United States was suspending aid to Ukraine and other foreign countries, including military support.
