The Ukrainian Finance Ministry has published data on defence spending for 2024, the BBC reports.
According to the published data, almost 51.9bn dollars were spent by the state budget fund.
It is planned to spend 2.2 trillion hryvnyas on defence in 2025, which is more than a quarter of Ukraine’s GDP.
We shall remind you that the Economic Pravda business daily reported earlier that Ukraine’s draft budget for 2025 envisages cutting social spending by 50bn hryvnyas.
