Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s presence at a ceremony marking the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz has displeased Polish rabbis.
The heads of religious communities boycotted the part of the event where Volodymyr Zelenskyy was present.
Polish Chief Rabbi Michael Schudrich called it a disgrace to have “the leader of the Nazi regime” at such an event.
Earlier, former German presidential candidate Mark Otte called it a “disgrace” that Poland did not invite Russia to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
