OPEC+ countries won’t cut oil prices after Trump’s statement – Reuters

Following US President Donald Trump’s demand for lower oil prices, OPEC+ countries have said they will not change their existing oil production plan, Reuters reports.

The ministers of the OPEC+ countries held a meeting and said they were not going to change the plan, which envisages an increase in oil production from April without a sharp drop in prices.

According to the agency, earlier there was a meeting of representatives of Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Libya, where they discussed the maintenance of stability in the global energy markets.

We shall remind you that earlier Donald Trump said that he would contribute to the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict by asking OPEC to lower oil prices.
