Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said at a meeting with representatives of the SMER party that he would cut off financial aid to Ukraine from the European Union if Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not resume gas transit.
Robert Fico emphasised that Ukraine was the cause of Slovakia’s problems and called Volodymyr Zelenskyy an ‘enemy’ of the country.
‘The threat of retaliation is the only language that [Volodymyr – ed.] Zelenskyy understands,’ the Prime Minister added.
We shall remind you that earlier Robert Fico said that Ukraine would never join NATO and its membership in the European Union was under great question.
