The US Citizenship and Immigration Services says the US has suspended a programme for refugees from Ukraine.
It is noted that applications for funding are no longer accepted.
It is specified that the acceptance of the relevant forms is stopped in connection with the decree of 20 January 2025 ‘On securing our borders’.
Earlier, the President of the United States Donald Trump signed an order on the closure of the southern border of the United States.
