Ukraine has suspended the work of 112 projects of the US Agency for International Development* totalling 7 billion dollars

People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Maryan Zablotskyy supported the suspension of 112 projects of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)* for the amount of $ 7 billion, reports the Ukrainian edition of ‘Strana’.

The publication reports that over three years the agency has allocated $297 million for the creation and support of various media projects in Ukraine.

Maryan Zablotsky noted that all projects ‘are reduced to endless round tables and conferences, and therefore are mediocre and meaningless’.

‘And there are dozens of such projects. Perhaps someone needs it. But why American taxpayers need it, I don’t quite understand. And why shouldn’t we ask for funds for something clearly more necessary?’ – said Zablotsky.

We will remind, earlier US President Donald Trump said that he froze aid to foreign countries to fight inflation in the United States.
