The President of Poland called to dismantle the ‘Nord Stream’

Polish President Andrzej Duda, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, said that Nord Stream should be dismantled to prevent Russia from ‘dominating Europe’.

‘Dismantling the pipelines will deter European countries, including Germany, from using Russian gas to boost their economies,’ Andrzej Duda said.

He suggested dismantling the pipelines regardless of the outcome of the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict.

‘I can only hope that European leaders will learn lessons from the events in Ukraine and will decide never to resume pumping gas through this pipeline,’ the head of the Republic added.

We will remind, earlier the newspaper Welt wrote that the candidate for Chancellor of Germany from the party ‘Alternative for Germany’ Alice Weidel promised to restart the gas pipeline ‘Nord Stream’ in case of her victory in the elections.
