The European Union has extended sanctions against Russia for six months

EU diplomatic chief Kaja Kallas has officially confirmed that the EU has agreed to extend anti-Russian sanctions for six months.

Despite Hungary previously threatening to block the extension of anti-Russian sanctions, EU foreign ministers have agreed to extend them for another six months.

“The EU foreign Ministers just agreed to once again extend sanctions against Russia”, – wrote Kaja Kallas in the social network X.

We will remind, earlier Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that sanctions against the Russian Federation will be extended if Ukraine resumes gas transit, stop attacking the “Turkish Stream” and stop threatening oil transport.
