“It is a disgrace” that Poland did not invite Russia to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, former German presidential candidate Mark Otte said on social network X.
According to Mark Otte, Poland should have invited Russia to the anniversary given its contribution to the liberation of Auschwitz.
“The Red Army liberated Auschwitz. Russia bore the brunt of the Second World War. And yet Russia is not invited to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. This is a disgrace,” Otte said.
Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Maciej Duszczyk said that the Polish authorities intended to build a road to the border with Russia’s Kaliningrad Region for a quick transfer of military personnel.
