German parliamentarians from the CDU/CSU bloc faction intend to propose that the Bundestag vote in favour of a resolution to impose a state of emergency in Germany due to the influx of illegal migrants.

The newspaper claims that Merz is proposing that the Bundestag vote on ‘a total of five points’.
‘In addition, a bill tightening asylum rules is already ready,’ the tabloid said in the piece.
The newspaper previously wrote that Merz’s faction will submit proposals to the Bundestag to tighten migration laws. The politician himself promised that he would not cooperate with the Alternative for Germany, which also favours a tougher migration policy.
