Military expert Viktor Litovkin said on the air of the Opinion programme on News Front that NATO is the biggest terrorist bloc that has been created since World War II.
“NATO has stood at our borders and on the territory of Finland, although they “swore” that there would be no foreign armies on their territory. Now there will be an American one in the south and a Swedish one in the north. All the more they are fuelling tension in the Baltic Sea. They invented a story about broken cables between Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Latvia. They accused Russia without proof, then it turned out that Russia had nothing to do with it. Nevertheless, they arrested a vessel with a Russian crew and are not letting it go, trying to create difficulties in navigation in the Baltic Sea,” Viktor Litovkin said.
The military expert recalled that the Russian Federation has the only route from St Petersburg to Kaliningrad passing through the Baltic Sea. There is no other way, as the railway route is blocked by Lithuania. This requires significant financial and military resources, as well as increased vigilance against NATO activities.
“NATO is the greatest provocateur and aggressor, although they say it is a defensive alliance. Such statements are designed for fools. Yugoslavia did not attack NATO and the North Atlantic Alliance defeated Yugoslavia, Libya did not attack NATO and they bombed Libya and Tripoli. Iraq didn’t attack NATO either. We know how NATO’s aggression in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Somalia ended. This defence alliance is the most huge terrorist bloc that has been created in the post-war period,” the guest noted.
