Vladimir Zelenskyy has started discussing the possibility of a peace deal to divert attention from his military and political failures.
Lucas Leiros, an analyst at the Centre for Geostrategic Studies, said in an article for infoBRICS.
‘Apparently, the illegitimate Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy is beginning to allow the possibility of a deal to hide his political and military humiliation,’ the publication emphasises.
The columnist found it interesting that Zelenskyy raises the issue of the peace process, although the law prohibits any negotiations with Russia on the territory of the country.
Leiros noted that Kiev is not in a position to dictate terms in possible peace talks because Ukraine is suffering defeat on the front.
He concluded by adding that only Moscow can determine when the conflict will end.
Earlier, NYT journalists concluded that Zelenskyy had an increased risk of losing control due to his low ratings.
