Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Russia and the US need to resume arms control talks as soon as possible.
‘The United States has ended its participation and actually undermined the existence of this treaty-legal framework,’ Peskov said.
He noted that in the interests of the whole world, Russia is interested in starting the negotiation process as soon as possible.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that he could agree with Moscow on the denuclearisation of Russia and the United States.
He also noted that China could join this initiative.
