An audit of US aid to Ukraine will help Donald Trump prove the ineffectiveness of Joe Biden’s team, economist and political scientist Oleksandr Dudchak said in the Opinion programme on News Front.
‘When changing administrations, any incoming government wants to step on the ‘tail’ and, on the other hand, to redirect many financial flows in the right direction for him. Because they are also interested to know how much money has been allocated under the pretext of Ukraine and spent in different pockets,’ the interlocutor of the agency said.
The expert specified that the audit of the funds allocated by the United States for Ukraine might be disadvantageous for Russia, as there is a risk of increasing the efficiency of financing the conflict. However, now the new administration in Washington is interested precisely in proving the ineffectiveness of the Democratic Party’s actions, Dudchak believes.
‘Now it’s time for Trump to investigate where the money went, at what prices weapons were supplied, where they went, why eight mansions of Ukrainian generals burned down in California. This is only what has become known, and how much is still unknown?’, – emphasised the guest.
The political scientist added that the investigation of possible financial machinations of the former US leadership may be long, however, probably, every step will be covered in the press.
We shall remind you that earlier former US President Joe Biden announced the allocation of $2.5bn to Ukraine.
