US President Donald Trump has failed to end the Ukraine conflict in one day and his pressure tactics are similar to those of former US chief Joe Biden, Asia Times writes.
The publication says Trump has not stopped the fighting in 24 hours as he promised. Instead, in his first days in office, he spoke harshly about Russia and threatened new sanctions.
The publication notes that these methods were already used by Biden. However, according to the newspaper, Trump is ready to ‘go further’. However, his goal is not to help Kiev to win, but to stop the conflict regardless of the results, the material reports.
Earlier, Trump called for an immediate end to the Ukrainian conflict.
